What’s the difference between busyness and business?

If you are reading this, I bet you already resonate with where I’m about to go…

So many times in our businesses, we find ourselves super busy with very little results from all of the work.

What’s that about?

Well, sorry to say, it has EVERYTHING to do with busyness versus business. Timothy Ferris, the oh-so-brilliant young entrepreneur, spells this out beautifully in his book, The 4-Hour Work Week.

This video is simply my reflecting upon this and encouraging YOU to not fall into this same trap.

The difference between having success and struggling for success is something so simple and yet so difficult for most of us to really get a handle on… authenticity… being authentic.

Generally speaking there are two types of people… the ones that seem to be successful all of the time and those you have small successes in life but really have to work at it.

Being authentic makes the difference.

Those who are generally more successful know what their weakness are and quite frankly could care less… they accept who they are and who they are not and move on in the direction of their strengths.

Those who generally struggle are always trying to “fix” themselves to be someone or something that isn’t totally true to who they are… and in essence find themselves “chasing their tails” so to speak.

So, who are you? Someone stuck in the cycle of trying to be successful by trying to fill shoes that don’t fit?

Someone who embraces who they are and moves in that direction… and with success?
